Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Indelib LLC (operator of the Fahrli platform) collects and processes user data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).

Fahrli does not require any user account creation. We only collect data strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the application.

2. Data Collected

The data collected is limited to:

  • Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, language, country (for experience optimization)
  • Usage statistics: learning progress, features used, time spent
  • Behavioral events: clicks, navigation, technical errors (managed via PostHog, SimpleAnalytics, and Sentry)
  • AI requests: questions asked to the Fahrli AI assistant are automatically processed by our partner Groq
  • Payment data: processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
  • Advertising tracking data (only on fahrli.ch website): IP address (anonymized), pages visited, site interactions, conversions (via Google Ads and TikTok Pixel)

Indelib never stores or accesses your banking data (card number, IBAN, etc.) No sensitive data (racial origin, political opinions, health, etc.) or exact GPS location is collected.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Data is processed on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: to provide app features and ensure its operation
  • Legitimate interest: to improve the app, fix bugs, analyze usage, and ensure security
  • Consent: for analytics cookies and AI assistant usage (revocable at any time in app settings)

4. Third-party Tools and International Transfers

To analyze and improve the service, we use:

  • SimpleAnalytics (European Union) → anonymous statistics without cookies
  • PostHog (data stored in European Union) → anonymized usage analysis
  • Groq (United States) → AI question processing (requests are temporary and not used to train other models)
  • Sentry (United States) → detection and analysis of technical errors
  • App Store / Play Store → secure payment processing
  • Infomaniak (Switzerland) → server and database hosting
  • Google Ads (United States) → conversion tracking and advertising remarketing (only on fahrli.ch website)
  • TikTok Pixel (United States/Singapore) → advertising campaign performance measurement (only on fahrli.ch website)

Transfers outside Switzerland: Some service providers are located in the United States. These transfers are governed by approved standard contractual clauses and enhanced security measures. The United States does not have a level of protection equivalent to Switzerland, which may present risks.

Indelib never sells your data to third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

On the mobile application

Fahrli uses technical cookies essential for app operation and analytics cookies (PostHog, Sentry) to improve user experience.

On the website (fahrli.ch)

The website also uses:

  • Advertising cookies: Google Ads and TikTok Pixel to measure advertising campaign effectiveness and offer personalized remarketing
  • Advertising cookie retention period: up to 13 months

Consent management:

  • You can withdraw your consent at any time via the banner or your browser settings

6. Purpose of Processing

The data collected is used exclusively to:

  • ensure the technical operation of the app
  • improve user experience and features
  • detect and fix errors and bugs
  • provide personalized responses from the Fahrli AI assistant
  • analyze usage anonymously
  • measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (Google Ads, TikTok)
  • offer personalized advertisements based on your browsing (remarketing)

No automated profiling or fully automated decision-making with legal effects is performed.

7. Retention Period

Technical and usage data are retained for a maximum period of 12 months, except for irreversible anonymization allowing longer retention for statistical purposes.

Data related to refund requests (Success Guarantee) are retained for 12 months for accounting purposes.

8. User Rights

In accordance with the nFADP, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of your data
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure: permanently delete your data
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data
  • Right to portability: retrieve your data in a structured and readable format

9. Security

Indelib implements advanced technical and organizational measures (secure servers, communication encryption, anonymization, access control) to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

10. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a serious data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will inform you as soon as possible in accordance with Art. 24 nFADP and notify the FDPIC if necessary.

11. Minor Users

Fahrli can be used by minors from 16 years old. No sensitive data about minors is collected. For users under 16 years old: use requires consent from a legal representative (parent or guardian).

12. Modifications

Indelib may update this policy at any time to remain compliant with legal or technical developments.

13. Authoritative Language

This policy exists in French, German, English, and Italian. In case of interpretation discrepancy, the French version prevails.
