These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the Fahrli platform, including the mobile application (iOS and Android) and the website https://fahrli.ch.

1. Purpose and Acceptance
1.1 Purpose
These Terms define the conditions of access and use of Fahrli, an educational platform designed for preparation of the Swiss theoretical driving license exam (categories B, A, A1).
1.2 Acceptance
Use of Fahrli implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, you must immediately cease using the platform.
By downloading the application or accessing the website, you acknowledge having read and accept these Terms without reservation.
1.3 Legal Capacity
Use of Fahrli is open to:
- adults (18 years and older)
- minors 16 years and older with consent from a legal guardian
- minors under 16 years old only with authorization and under supervision of a legal guardian
The legal guardian of a minor is responsible for the minor's use of Fahrli.
2. Service Description
2.1 Educational Content
Fahrli offers:
- a database of practice questions covering Swiss road traffic regulations
- learning modules organized by topic
- a progress tracking system
- an AI conversational assistant to answer user questions
- personalized preparation statistics
2.2 Non-Official Nature
Fahrli is a private educational tool developed by Indelib LLC. It is not an official service of:
- the Swiss Confederation
- the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO)
- the Association of Motor Vehicle Services (ASA)
- any cantonal motor vehicle office
Fahrli does not issue any official certificate of passing the theoretical exam.
2.3 Legal Sources
Fahrli's content is developed in accordance with:
- the Federal Road Traffic Act (RTA)
- the Road Traffic Ordinance (RTO)
- the Traffic Rules Ordinance (TRO)
- FEDRO guidelines
Indelib strives to keep the content up to date, but does not guarantee perfect completeness or total absence of errors. In case of discrepancy with official regulations, the latter prevails.
3. Platform Access
3.1 Access Methods
Fahrli is accessible:
- via mobile application available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- via website https://fahrli.ch
3.2 No User Account
Fahrli does not require user account creation with username and password. Access is managed via:
- your mobile device (technical identification via unique registration number)
- your Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) account for purchases
3.3 Technical Requirements
The user must have:
- a compatible device (iOS/Android smartphone or tablet)
- an Internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
- the latest version of the application installed
Indelib cannot be held responsible for malfunctions related to:
- obsolete or incompatible equipment
- defective Internet connection
- restrictions imposed by the telecom operator
3.4 Offers and Pricing
Fahrli offers:
- a free version with limited access to content
- a paid version (one-time purchase) with unlimited full access

4. User Obligations
4.1 Personal Use
Access to Fahrli is strictly personal and non-transferable. The user agrees to:
- use the platform for their own exam preparation
- not share their access with third parties
- not create multiple accounts to circumvent free version limitations
4.2 Compliant Use
The user agrees to use Fahrli fairly and in accordance with its intended purpose. It is notably prohibited to:
- divert the platform from its educational use
- use Fahrli for commercial purposes without written authorization from Indelib
- extract, copy, or massively reproduce content (scraping, crawling)
- create a competing database from Fahrli content
4.3 Security
The user agrees to:
- not attempt to access non-public parts of the platform
- not introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
- not disrupt normal service operation (DDoS attacks, etc.)
- report any discovered security vulnerabilities to team@fahrli.ch
4.4 Respect for Intellectual Property
The user acknowledges that all Fahrli content is protected by copyright. They agree not to:
- reproduce, copy, or distribute content without authorization
- disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the application
- remove or modify copyright notices and trademarks
5. Specific Prohibitions
It is strictly prohibited to:
5.1 Resale and Commercialization
- resell access to Fahrli or its content
- offer paid training services based on Fahrli without written agreement
5.2 Account Sharing
- share paid access with other users
- create "shared accounts" for collective use
5.3 Content Extraction
- scrape Fahrli's questions and answers
- create a derivative database
- publish Fahrli content on other platforms, forums, social networks
5.4 Technical Modifications
- modify the application (rooting, jailbreak)
- use third-party tools to bypass technical limitations
- create modified or derivative versions of the application
Any violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate access suspension and legal proceedings.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Indelib's Rights
All elements of Fahrli (texts, questions, illustrations, logos, design, source code, algorithms, database, name "Fahrli") are the exclusive property of Indelib LLC and protected by:
- copyright (Federal Copyright Act - CopA)
- trademark law
- database rights
6.2 License to Use
Access to Fahrli grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- use the application for personal and non-commercial purposes
- consult and study educational content
- benefit from offered features
This license does not grant any ownership rights to Fahrli's content or code.
6.3 Regulatory Content
Road signs, markings, and Swiss regulatory elements reproduced in Fahrli come from official public sources. This content is used for strictly educational purposes in accordance with legal exceptions to copyright.
7. AI Conversational Assistant
7.1 Operation
Fahrli includes a conversational assistant based on artificial intelligence (generative AI) to answer user questions about Swiss road regulations.
Requests are processed by our technology partner Groq via a secure API.
7.2 Limitations and Warnings
The AI assistant may:
- provide inaccurate or incomplete information (hallucinations)
- incorrectly interpret a question
- give contradictory answers between sessions
The user should not rely exclusively on AI responses for exam preparation. They must always verify information via:
- Fahrli's official learning modules
- official regulatory sources (RTA, RTO, FEDRO)
7.3 Liability
Indelib does not guarantee the accuracy of responses provided by the AI assistant and disclaims all liability in case of:
- exam failure resulting from erroneous information provided by AI
- misinterpretation or misapplication of responses
- direct or indirect damages related to AI assistant use
7.4 Use of Requests
Questions asked to the AI assistant are processed temporarily and are not used to train other AI models. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
7.5 Right to Refuse AI
The user may choose not to use the AI assistant and limit themselves to Fahrli's traditional learning modules.
8. Service Availability and Modifications
8.1 Availability
Indelib strives to ensure continuous access to Fahrli, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
The platform may be temporarily inaccessible due to:
- scheduled or emergency maintenance operations
- technical or content updates
- infrastructure failures (servers, networks, third-party providers)
- force majeure
Indelib commits to minimizing interruption duration and informing users of scheduled maintenance.
8.2 Service Modifications
Indelib reserves the right to:
- modify Fahrli features
- add or remove educational content
- update the user interface
- update technologies used
Substantial modifications will be notified via the application or website.
8.3 Application Updates
The user agrees to keep the application up to date by installing new versions available on the App Store or Play Store. Indelib may make installation of certain updates mandatory to continue using the service.
Old application versions may cease functioning without notice.
9. Access Suspension and Termination
9.1 Suspension by Indelib
Indelib reserves the right to immediately suspend a user's access without notice or compensation in case of:
- violation of these Terms
- fraudulent or abusive use of the platform
- illegal activities or infringement of Indelib's or third parties' rights
- hacking attempts or attacks on system security
9.2 Consequences of Suspension
In case of suspension:
- access to Fahrli is immediately blocked
- no refund is due for the unused period (except in case of manifest abuse by Indelib)
- progress data may be deleted
9.3 Termination by User
The user may cease using Fahrli at any time by:
- uninstalling the application
- ceasing to access the website
9.4 Permanent Service Discontinuation
Indelib reserves the right to permanently cease Fahrli operation with 30 days' notice communicated via the application or email.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Educational Content
Indelib does not guarantee:
- exhaustive and permanent accuracy of content
- total absence of errors or omissions
- perfect conformity with questions asked during the official exam
- the user's success on the theoretical exam
The user acknowledges that Fahrli is a preparation aid tool and that their success depends on their personal work and understanding of traffic rules.
10.2 Indirect Damages
Under no circumstances can Indelib be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use or inability to use Fahrli, including:
- exam failure
- loss of time or opportunity
- exam registration fees
- moral prejudice
- data loss
10.3 Contractual Liability Limitation
Within the limits allowed by law, Indelib's total liability, all damages combined, cannot exceed the amount paid by the user during the last 12 months for access to Fahrli.
10.4 External Links
The fahrli.ch website may contain links to third-party websites. Indelib exercises no control over these sites and disclaims all liability regarding their content, availability, or practices.
10.5 Force Majeure
Indelib cannot be held responsible for non-performance of its obligations in cases of force majeure, including: natural disaster, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, strike, major Internet infrastructure failure, cyberattack, government decision, or any event beyond its reasonable control.
11. Personal Data
Processing of personal data collected via Fahrli is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with the Federal Data Protection Act (nFDPA).
Users are invited to consult this document to learn their rights and data processing methods.
12. Modifications to Terms
12.1 Right to Modify
Indelib reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time to:
- comply with legal or regulatory changes
- adapt the service to new features
- improve user protection
12.2 Notification
Substantial modifications will be brought to users' attention by:
- notification in the application
- email (if address was provided)
- publication on the website
12.3 Acceptance of Modifications
Continued use of Fahrli after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If the user refuses the modifications, they must cease using the platform.
The current version of the Terms is always accessible at https://fahrli.ch/terms and in the application ("Settings" or "About" section).
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
13.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
In case of dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before any legal action. The user may contact Indelib at team@fahrli.ch.
13.3 Competent Jurisdiction
Failing amicable agreement, the ordinary courts of the user's domicile in Switzerland have jurisdiction (Art. 32 CPC - consumer protection).
For users located outside Switzerland, the exclusive jurisdiction is the Canton of Geneva.
14. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court, the other clauses remain fully in force.
The invalid clause will be replaced by a valid clause with the closest possible economic effect.
15. Authoritative Language
These Terms exist in French, German, English, and Italian. In case of interpretation discrepancy, the French version prevails.
